This wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on the Kimmeridgian-rich clay-limestone soils of Les Chandelières in Menetou-Salon. Aged for 22 months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees, it develops an elegant texture and great aromatic depth. This process enhances the wine's complexity while preserving the natural vibrancy of the Sauvignon Blanc, creating a harmonious whole that invites a refined tasting experience.

Domaine Philippe Gilbert
Located in Menetou-Salon, Domaine Philippe Gilbert is part of a long family winemaking history, with the Gilbert family having been present in the vineyard since the 18th century. The estate is currently managed by Philippe Gilbert, who oversees a vineyard of approximately 29 hectares.
The plots are situated on hillsides resting on Kimmeridgian sedimentary soils, composed of marl, clay, and limestone. The grape varieties are mainly divided between Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, emblematic grapes of the appellation, cultivated with a constant pursuit of balance and clarity.
The estate was converted to organic farming and then to biodynamic farming between 2005 and 2007, and is now Biodyvin certified. This approach translates into meticulous vineyard work, focused on soil health and close observation of the vines.
