Domaine Neumeyer

Bulle L blanc

Vin de France | Blanc | NM

Demonstrating a meticulous mastery of the art of winemaking, the Neumeyer estate presents a wine crafted from Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois grapes, grown using organic farming methods.

Winemaking: native yeasts , temperature control, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aged on full lees for one year. Second fermentation in bottles with the addition of grape must from the following vintage, following a traditional method.

“Libre,” vinified without additives or filtration, this wine breaks free from certain conventions, following the whims of life. Produced without added sulfur or sugar, the L sparkling wine has a slight sediment in the bottle, which in no way affects its quality.

Our Review of the Cuvée

The sensory experience of this wine is breathtaking. From the very first whiff, delicate, fresh notes emerge, evoking spring blossoms. On the palate, the silky texture—a result of extended aging on the lees—offers remarkable length and rare complexity. The traditional method of secondary fermentation develops a fine effervescence that dances on the palate, giving way to an elegant, mineral finish, true to its marl-limestone terroir. A lively wine that expresses itself without artifice, captivating with its sincerity and natural harmony.

In Alsace, Domaine Neumeyer is located around Molsheim, as well as in the neighboring communes of Mutzig and Avolsheim. The vineyard is managed according to organic farming principles, with particular attention paid to soil balance and plot-specific expression.

Vineyard management relies on measured practices: natural grassing, shallow soil cultivation, manual harvesting with sorting, and controlled yields. Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve the precise balance and aromatic potential of each plot.

In the cellar, winemaking prioritizes minimal intervention. Pressing is gentle, fermentations are conducted with indigenous yeasts, and aging is extended on lees to promote the wines' natural stability and complexity. This approach aims to support the raw material without altering its expression.
