Our Review of the Cuvée

On the nose, this wine reveals delicate aromas with floral and fruity nuances, thanks to its ancestral method and harmonious blend of grape varieties. On the palate, it offers a fine and lively texture with a clear and purified expression of the terroir, characterized by the minerality imparted by the shelly falun soil. The sensation is both fresh and refined, with each sip delivering a complexity that will appeal to enthusiasts of authentic wines. The absence of added sulfur makes for a pure and direct sensory experience.

Domaine Les Grandes Vignes

Domaine Les Grandes Vignes

Languedoc | France

In Anjou, the Vaillant family has been managing Domaine Les Grandes Vignes biodynamically for many years. The vineyard is primarily planted with Chenin and Cabernet Franc, emblematic grape varieties of the region, cultivated with constant attention to soil balance and vine vitality.

The parcels located around Thouarcé exhibit diverse profiles, which the estate interprets through precise vinification techniques, sometimes conducted without added sulfur. The white wines develop a natural texture and measured tension, where the fruit maintains a restrained and clear expression. The red wines favor supple structures and a smooth mouthfeel, resulting from controlled extractions.

The aging processes are conducted with restraint, with the aim of preserving the direct expression of the terroir and the clarity of the profiles. The estate's entire approach is characterized by great consistency, offering wines true to their origin and consistent in their expression over time
