Les Murgiers Brut Nature is a unique champagne, crafted using traditional winemaking methods that highlight the authentic character of the Marne Valley terroirs. Made primarily from Meunier grapes, this champagne is produced from the first pressing in small oak barrels and undergoes natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts. With no additions after disgorgement, it fully expresses its richness and intensity on the palate.

Our Review of the Cuvée

On the nose, Les Murgiers Brut Nature reveals enticing aromas of dried fruit, white fruit, and a hint of citrus, enhanced by delicate floral notes. On the palate, its generous texture and assertive structure immediately captivate, offering a dense, aromatic body that unfolds with elegance. The blend of grape varieties lends it remarkable complexity, enhanced by careful aging. This is a highly expressive champagne, ideal for pairing with a variety of dishes, from refined appetizers to tender poultry, while elevating every moment of enjoyment.

The estate switched to biodynamic farming several years ago, producing precise, lively champagnes that emphasize brightness over power. Barrel fermentation lends a full-bodied texture without weighing the wines down. A common thread runs through them: fine bubbles, crisp aromas, and a tension that carries the finish. The single-vineyard cuvées showcase the diversity of the Marne Valley’s soils, with distinct nuances ranging from chalk to sand and clay.
