Crémant d'Alsace XXCI 2021

Crémant d'Alsace | Blanc | 2021

This Crémant is made exclusively from Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, undergoing a slow fermentation process and aging on racks and in old oak casks. The result is a fine, delicate effervescence, supported by a lively, invigorating texture that is remarkably dense without being heavy. A refined balance between tension and fruit.

Our Review of the Cuvée

The bright, sparkling color is studded with crystalline micro-bubbles. The fresh, deep nose surprises with notes of lemon, pomelo, damp chalk, and a subtle toasty/spicy touch. On the palate, the attack is pure and dynamic, the texture full-bodied and vibrant, supported by a generous mousse that caresses the palate. The finish lingers with a dazzling freshness—fruity and briny—of infectious intensity. A lively, indulgent, and precise Crémant, perfect as an aperitif, with seafood, or with seafood appetizers.

This approach preserves the fruit character, adds volume without excess, and allows each grape varietal to express itself distinctly. The cuvées exhibit distinct profiles, without aiming for a ...
