Château Clarisse
Nestled in the heart of the clay-limestone plateau of Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion, near Saint-Émilion, Château Clarisse embodies a modern and demanding approach to Bordeaux wine. Established by Olivia and Didier Le Calvez, the estate spans 24 hectares across the Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion and Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellations, offering an exceptional terroir where each parcel reveals its unique character.
The deep soils, enriched with fossilized limestone, act as a natural water reservoir, allowing the vines to ripen in perfect balance. The plateau, situated at an altitude of over 100 meters, ensures optimal drainage, ideal sun exposure, and a natural freshness that imparts tension and elegance to the grapes.
