This Chardonnay, grown on vines over 40 years old, fully expresses its character thanks to a unique terroir combining sandy gravel and loam soils in the hills of Capestang. Careful winemaking, featuring direct pressing and low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, reveals a pure and fresh texture. Aging on fine lees in stainless steel tanks accentuates the wine’s liveliness and elegance, ensuring a bright, energetic finish.

Our Review of the Cuvée

At first glance, this wine captivates with its bright straw-yellow color. The nose, still somewhat reserved upon opening, gradually comes alive with citrus and white fruit aromas, enhanced by a subtle hint of chalk. On the palate, the experience is unexpected, marked by a lively acidity that gives the wine its structure. The texture is delicately crisp thanks to a light effervescence that stimulates the palate. The finish, taut and invigorating, offers bitter notes of citrus peel and cinchona bark, a distinctive signature of the Chenin Blanc from this terroir.
