Mas d'Espanet

Freesia blanc 2024

Cévennes | Blanc | 2024

Carefully crafted, this wine is a harmonious blend of Viognier and Sauvignon, vinified in tanks on the lees with bâtonnage. This process captures the wine’s delicate aromas while maintaining a balanced texture. Thanks to six months of aging, it retains the fresh, fruity character imparted by the clay-limestone terroir. Suitable for any occasion, it pairs equally well with an aperitif or a dish of grilled fish.

Mas d'Espanet

Languedoc | France

Mas d’Espanet is a family-owned winery located between Uzès and Sommières, in the heart of the Massif des Lens in Languedoc, which was brought back to life in the 1980s after lying abandoned for many years. Denys and Agnès Armand grow a variety of white and red grape varieties on approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, in a garrigue environment conducive to viticulture.

The estate is managed using biodynamic farming methods with the aim of allowing the terroir to fully express itself, while also incorporating traditional agricultural practices such as sheep farming and companion planting. The grapes are harvested by hand, and winemaking techniques vary by vintage, combining tradition with precision.

The wines of Mas d’Espanet offer a lovely aromatic freshness, refined expression, and a distinct character, reflecting the climatic and geological influences of the Languedoc region.
