Our Review of the Cuvée

At first glance, the translucent purple color intrigues with its lightness. The nose immediately captivates with rich aromas of black fruit cream, enhanced by a subtle milky note. On the palate, the attack is both round and full-bodied, with a velvety texture that envelops the palate. The luscious, juicy sensation is enlivened by a light effervescence that can be savored or allowed to fade naturally. This sparkling, bold version is rounded out by a slightly crisp finish, making the whole experience fresh and full of liveliness. An ideal companion for a summer meal, with its playful character and vibrant fruit.

Mas d'Espanet

Languedoc | France

Mas d’Espanet is a family-owned winery located between Uzès and Sommières, in the heart of the Massif des Lens in Languedoc, which was brought back to life in the 1980s after lying abandoned for many years. Denys and Agnès Armand grow a variety of white and red grape varieties on approximately 20 hectares of vineyards, in a garrigue environment conducive to viticulture.

The estate is managed using biodynamic farming methods with the aim of allowing the terroir to fully express itself, while also incorporating traditional agricultural practices such as sheep farming and companion planting. The grapes are harvested by hand, and winemaking techniques vary by vintage, combining tradition with precision.

The wines of Mas d’Espanet offer a lovely aromatic freshness, refined expression, and a distinct character, reflecting the climatic and geological influences of the Languedoc region.
