This wine is the result of a meticulous winemaking process in which every step is carefully planned. The Muscat Petits Grains grapes are harvested by hand and then carefully sorted on the vineyard to ensure quality. Sulfite-free vinification, followed by fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks, preserves the purity of the aromas and the wine’s natural freshness. This method ensures an authentic expression of the grape variety and the clay-limestone terroir, resulting in a harmonious structure.

Our take on this vintage

This wine first captivates with its pale gold color and brilliant highlights. The nose is pleasant and expressive, blending floral notes of orange blossom and rose with hints of ripe apricot and the characteristic character of Muscat. On the palate, the balance between roundness and freshness is harmonious, allowing the aromas to unfold with finesse. The finish is fresh and lingering, marked by a slight bitterness reminiscent of apricot pits, complemented by delicate vegetal notes. An elegant and very pleasant wine to enjoy.

Located between Narbonne and Perpignan, Champ des Sœurs spans approximately 17 hectares of vineyards situated right by the sea. The estate is steeped in a long history of winemaking, as the family has been involved in the Fitou vineyards for many generations.

The vineyard is managed with exclusively hand-harvested grapes and particular attention paid to the ripeness of the grapes. The wines are produced under various appellations, including Fitou, Corbières, and Muscat de Rivesaltes, as well as white and red local wines. A plot of Muscat Petit Grain, which enjoys particularly good exposure, is often harvested very early, which helps preserve its freshness and aromatic precision.

In the cellar, winemaking is characterized by minimal intervention, with no sulfites added during fermentation and only very small amounts added before bottling. This approach aims to preserve flavors that are rich, accessible, and easy to appreciate, while ... Read more
