Our Review of the Cuvée

The nose opens with fresh, fruity aromas, dominated by notes of cherry and ripe strawberry—typical of the blend of Pinot and Gamay. On the palate, the attack is silky, with a delicate, well-balanced structure. Barrel aging adds a slight roundness and subtle woody nuances, without masking the fruitiness. The finish stands out for its purity and length, leaving a lingering impression of freshness. This wine is a true testament to meticulous craftsmanship, perfect for pairing with fine dishes or simply enjoying on its own for its intrinsic qualities.

Loire | France

Domaine J. Quastana is a natural vineyard located in the Loire Valley in France, run by Jérémy Quastana on approximately 3 hectares of vines planted primarily with Gamay, Côt, Syrah, Pinot Noir, and Pineau d’Aunis. He practices natural viticulture with very few inputs, inspired by the “living wine” movement, to enhance the expression of the region’s siliceous and clay-rich terroirs.

The grapes are harvested by hand, and winemaking involves minimal technical intervention in order to produce authentic, fresh, and aromatic wines—often without added sulfites or filtration—that reflect the pure expression of the fruit and the terroir. The range includes intense reds and naturally sparkling wines that highlight the diversity of the grape varieties grown.

The estate's wines are renowned for their freshness, liveliness, and ability to clearly express the character of the grape varieties and the unique style of Jérémy Quastana, rooted in
