Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine reveals a garnet hue that elegantly catches the light. After some time to breathe, the nose delicately unfolds with notes of red and black fruits, enriched by floral nuances and a hint of spice reminiscent of incense. On the palate, the wine charms with its roundness and generous fruitiness. The tannins, well-integrated yet slightly firm, lend a charming texture. The chalky, lingering finish reveals the character of the terroir with flavors of black cherry and cocoa, enveloped by a hint of spice. A tasting experience full of freshness and pleasure that concludes with a delightfully indulgent finish.

Gaïa Wines

Peloponnese | Greece

Gaïa Wines is a Greek wine estate founded in 1994, which has established itself as a benchmark in modern Greek viticulture with vineyards spread across the island of Santorini and the Nemea region in Peloponnese. The estate cultivates iconic indigenous grape varieties such as Assyrtiko, Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, and other local varieties, aiming to capture the pure expression of the Greek terroir.

On Santorini, the volcanic soils and maritime influence yield mineral-driven and precise white wines, while the Nemea vineyards produce deep and structured reds from Agiorgitiko, often carefully vinified and aged to enhance their complexity and aging potential.

The estate also offers innovative ranges, such as the Gaia S series, which combines the characteristics of local and international grape varieties, while emphasizing rigorous viticultural practices and the connection between wine, culture, and landscape.
