Vieille Mule 2024

Côtes du Roussillon villages | Blanc | 2024

Made from 100% Maccabeu, this wine comes from old vines grown on a unique terroir of black marl and clay-schist scree in the Agly Valley. Sustainable vineyard management with low yields ensures high-quality grapes. The winemaking process combines hand and machine harvesting, followed by direct pressing and an innovative nitrogen-based settling process. Aged in tanks, it is carefully filtered to preserve its freshness and finesse.

Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine boasts a pale, brilliant gold color that immediately catches the eye. The nose reveals delicate aromas reminiscent of citron and damp stone. On the palate, the texture is round and crisp, with a pleasantly pulpy body. A light effervescence brings a refreshing liveliness, while the finish is lively and long, marked by noble bitter notes such as pomelo peel and sage leaf. Its lingering finish leaves salty and spicy notes that awaken the taste buds.
