Sangiovese Cuvée à l'italienne 2023

Vin de France | Rouge | 2023

This wine is made using a sulfur-free vinification process with native yeasts, a method that preserves the authenticity of the Sangiovese grape. Without pumping over or punching down, the essence of the fruit is preserved, and aging on fine lees in tanks refines its delicate texture. This process allows for the development of a complex aromatic profile and an elegant structure.

Our Review of the Cuvée

From the very first whiff, this wine charms with its aromas of candied red cherries and floral potpourri, enhanced by hints of pepper and mild spices. Its translucent ruby color already hints at a rich sensory experience. On the palate, it is sleek and airy, offering a delicate texture enhanced by crisp, delicate fruit. Tertiary notes add beautiful depth, and a hint of carbonation stimulates the palate. The finish is surprising, with a lively bite that evolves into fruity and spicy flavors, dominated by morello cherry and stone fruit, promising a perfect pairing with Mediterranean dishes such as antipasti or grilled lamb.
