At Puzelat, we don’t try to correct the wine—we let it shine. Producing Gamay or Menu Pineau in Touraine thus becomes an exercise in controlled freedom. The wines often display very open, almost juicy fruit, yet are underpinned by a thread of acidity that keeps them in check. They are unlike anything else. This has been the estate’s signature for decades.
