Pot de vin Blanc

Vin de France | Blanc | NM

The estate cultivates its vineyards using organic farming methods on 35 hectares of clay-limestone hillsides. Facing south and southwest, these terroirs benefit from Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, giving the wines suppleness and aromatic richness. Chardonnay, the predominant variety, is vinified after direct pressing in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures, thereby preserving the complexity and freshness of the aromas.

Our Review of the Cuvée

On the palate, this wine captivates with its bright, vibrant light gold color. The nose reveals enchanting aromas of roasted white fruits and toasted hazelnuts, enhanced by subtle notes of truffle and honey. On the palate, it surprises with its elegance and freshness, supported by delicate acidity and a velvety texture. Its full-bodied character and savory finish, blending roasted apple, toasted dried fruits, and a noble bitterness, will delight wine lovers. This wine is perfect as a refined aperitif or paired with grilled fish.

Located in Malviès, between Limoux and Carcassonne, Château Guilhem has been a family estate since 1878, currently managed by the fifth generation. The domain encompasses approximately 35 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards, clustered around the property and situated against the Malepère massif, in the western Languedoc.

The soils play a central role in the wines' balance. The Malepère massif takes its name from a friable rock, which is unsuitable for construction but particularly ... Read more
