Pot de vin Rosé

Malepère | Rosé | NM

The estate is a true gem nestled on the clay-limestone slopes of the Malepère massif. Cultivated organically since 2013, the vines benefit from a high-altitude terroir influenced by both Atlantic and Mediterranean climates, yielding wines that are both supple and aromatic. Low-temperature vinification ensures optimal preservation of aromas, reflecting the passion and respect for each grape variety, particularly the Syrah which is predominant in this blend.

Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine captivates with its very pale pink hue that immediately draws the eye. The delicate nose offers an invitation to the fresh pleasures of red berries and subtle, almost ethereal spices. On the palate, its lightness stands out with subtly integrated acidity and a crystalline texture, evoking the sharp precision of a steel blade. The finish elegantly extends this impression, with a rare purity that could convince even the most skeptical to embrace rosé. Perfect as an aperitif or to enhance a summer meal, this wine is a revelation on par with the finest Provençal crus.

Languedoc | France

Located in Malviès, between Limoux and Carcassonne, Château Guilhem has been a family estate since 1878, currently managed by the fifth generation. The domain encompasses approximately 35 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards, clustered around the property and situated against the Malepère massif, in the western Languedoc.

This choice bestows upon the wines a unique profile within the Languedoc terroir, often referred to as 'another Languedoc,' where freshness and structure are prioritized over solar intensity.

The soils play a central role in the wines' balance. The Malepère massif takes its name from a friable rock, which is unsuitable for construction but particularly ... Read more
