Domaine Saint Martin d'Agel

Domaine Saint Martin d'Agel

Languedoc | France

Domaine Saint Martin d'Agel is a historic Languedoc vineyard, passed down through generations since 1822. For eight generations, the same family has passionately cultivated 11 grape varieties on diverse terroirs, driven by strong values of environmental respect, meticulous craftsmanship, and the unique character of each plot. Located along the ancient Via Domitia, the estate is steeped in millennia of history: a Roman villa once stood on the site, followed by a small abbey that welcomed pilgrims on the Way of St. James, a legacy still alive in certain wines such as Le Pèlerin and La Chapelle. Today, the entire family works tirelessly at the estate, striving to truly express its terroir. Grown on exceptional schist soils, the wines of Domaine Saint Martin d'Agel are distinguished by their balanced palate, their distinctive personality, and their pronounced aromatic and mineral character.
