Located in Menetou-Salon, Domaine Philippe Gilbert is part of a long family tradition in winemaking, as the Gilbert family has been involved in viticulture since the 18th century. Today, the estate is run by Philippe Gilbert, who oversees a vineyard of approximately 29 hectares.

The estate transitioned to organic farming and then to biodynamic farming between 2005 and 2007, and is now Biodyvin-certified.
