Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this Sauvignon Blanc captivates with its notes of candied lemon, lemon balm, and poached pear, enhanced by a touch of minty blackcurrant. On the palate, it displays a vibrant freshness from the first sip, followed by a flavorful and slightly effervescent texture. Citrus, green apple, and blackcurrant mingle harmoniously, offering a sensation of vivacity. The long and refreshing finish is accentuated by a noble grapefruit bitterness and a pronounced persistence of blackcurrant. A balanced, vibrant, and highly expressive wine.

Languedoc | France

A trained oenologist and a true free spirit in Languedoc, Jeff Carrel is one of those winemakers who have profoundly revitalized the image of wines from the South of France. For over twenty-five years, he has been exploring Languedoc terroirs with a simple yet demanding idea: to reveal the best of each grape variety, each plot, without ever masking the wine's identity.

Based in Roussillon, Jeff Carrel works hand in hand with a collective of partner winemakers called Les Amis de Jeff Carrel. Together, they select grapes from carefully chosen terroirs, cultivated with respect for the environment, to produce cuvées that are precise, delicious, and consistently excellent.

His style is distinguished by very expressive wines, driven by fruit, freshness, and balance, far from the heavy reds often associated with the South. Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Chardonnay are crafted with finesse to create ... Lire plus
