An agricultural engineer and oenologist by training, Cédric Lecareux made his mark and enriched his skills in the wine sector for nearly 15 years before making his dream come true by creating Les Capréoles with his family. For the sake of history, this name refers in ancient French to the vine's tendrils. As you will have understood, the history of the Capréoles is above all the story of a love at first sight between the 3 hectare property in Beaujolais, and the Lecareux.
"Our philosophy: great grapes for great wines! This is why the organic cultivation of our vines, respect for the soil and terroirs, green work and harvesting the grapes at full maturity are essential for us. Our wines are aged in our vaulted cellars with the greatest care in order to restore all the expression of our terroirs and our know-how in a single glass.
"Why in bio? So that my children can run today in the vineyards and maybe cultivate them tomorrow if it inspires them! "
