Domaine Chavy Chouet was born from a marriage of two wine enthusiasts, Albert Chavy and Odile Ropiteau. Continuing the family tradition, Hubert, their son, succeeded them and eventually passed the estate on to his son Romaric Chavy. After 6 years of viticultural studies and internships all over the world, in South Africa, Italy, Greece and Spain, Romaric finally decided to return to the family estate to bring his vision of Burgundian wines.

Our story

He likes to say that his objective is to cultivate his vines every day with passion and high standards. Romaric does not tolerate any "more or less" when it comes to his wines: He only wants the best! He is fortunate to be helped by an exceptional family: a team of employees with a rare seniority who participate and support him during the daily work at his side.

Other little stories

"I had the chance to discover other winemaking methods, especially foreign ones, but producing a great Burgundy wine is a unique opportunity for me."
