We are a family estate with 16 hectares of vines. Today, my brother and I are the 5th generation to take up the torch and bring the estate to life. We are committed to working our wines with the know-how that has been handed down to us, while adding our own touch, our own vision of wine. We use integrated vineyard management and will be applying for HVE certification in the very near future. We prefer natural grassing, ploughing, inter-row cultivation and working the soil in general. In the winery, we work with our destemmed harvest, limiting inputs and letting the wine guide us so that it respects its vintage and terroir. This year, for example, we made a Burgundy Aligoté with no added sulfites, using the first juices from the press. We love and want our heritage to endure, and the recognition of our work in magazines, competitions and by our customers is our greatest source of pride.
We are Stéphanie and Jérôme, brother and sister, and we represent the 5th generation of our family domaine.nestled in Saint Sernin du Plain, just half an hour south of Beaune, our domaine extends over the Côtes du Couchois and Maranges vineyards. The history of our domaine dates back to the 1810s, when the first plots of vines were purchased. In 1930, our great-grandfather, Germain Dépernon, began selling to the wine trade, laying the foundations for our company. In 1976, it was the turn of our father Michel, son of Bernard Dépernon and grandson of Germain Dépernon, to take the reins of the estate. He continued to perpetuate the family tradition and develop the business. In 1992, alongside his wife Françoise, Michel acquired new, more prestigious parcels, including Maranges, Maranges 1er Cru 'Les Clos Roussots', and Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune. In 2000, the family business was renamed "Domaine du Beauregard", reflecting our attachment to the beauty of our terroir. Since then, we've been proud to carry on our heritage and bring you wines that capture the essence of Burgundy. We are passionate about Burgundy wines, following our own philosophy of vineyard cultivation and winemaking. We are delighted to invite you to discover our range of wines, which are the fruit of our commitment to tradition, quality and innovation. At Domaine du Beauregard, we are much more than a winery. We are a family united by a love of terroir and wine, and we look forward to sharing our passion with you.
