Looking for a winemaker who deserves a visit? Discover the wines of Kévin Descombes. His farm is located in the heart of the Beaujolais in Villié Morgon. He cultivates with passion the Gamay grape and produces natural wines which are distinguished from each other by the complexity offered by the Beaujolais terroir.
There are 6 hectares of vines in the Beaujolais, Beaujolais Village and Morgon appellations. The region's flagship grape variety, Kevin is a passionate Gamay grower. He makes cuvées that stand out from the rest thanks to the complexity of the Beaujolais terroir. Domaine K.Descombes and its wines are worth keeping an eye on. Let yourself be carried away by the world of Kéké wines. After taking over part of my father's vineyards, I set up on the estate at the beginning of 2013. The upkeep of the plots requires a lot of work throughout the ploughing period (from February to August): butting, decavaillonnage, griffage, inter ceps etc... In summer, however, the work doesn't stop! All the work is done by hand. The estate's wines are crisp and fresh, and free from any inputs.
I was able to learn the fascinating job of winegrower by working alongside my father Georges Descombes. It is a job where you never stop, the tasks are varied: in short, you never get bored! Each cuvée is unique and reveals a particular character of the terroir.
