Here, the diversity of the soils and the Mediterranean climate favor the cultivation of numerous grape varieties. This explains why this wine is produced in all three colors. That's rare in the Côtes du Rhône!

In the garrigue, vineyard plots nestle in the hollows of the limestone hills of the Sainte Baume. After crossing the Nizon Valley, to the east of the appellation, the walk ends on a vast plateau of large pebbles. In barely 10 km, one cannot help but notice the diversity of these terroirs.

The nearby vineyard of Tavel belongs to the only exclusively rosé cru of the Côtes du Rhône. Here, the terroir is composed of the limestone of the Vestides, the rolled pebbles of the Valongue plateau and finally the sand of Roquautes and Olivet.

Vineyard and wine walks are organized throughout the summer in the Côtes du Rhône region of the Gard department. There's no shortage of discovery trails here!
