Les Chemins de l'Arkose
La Flamme 2022
Vin de France | Orange | 2022
This wine, made from grapes grown in the volcanic terroir of Puy de Mur, is the result of meticulous winemaking. After destemming, the berries macerated for three months before being pressed in December. Aging on the lees continued until bottling at the end of June, without fining or filtration. These natural practices highlight the wine’s purity and authenticity, while best preserving its aromas and structure.

Our Review of the Cuvée
On the first sniff, this wine reveals delicate aromas that hint at its volcanic origins. On the palate, the texture is both silky and lively, thanks to its careful production and the high altitude of the vineyards, which lend the wine freshness and tension. Notes of ripe fruit and a subtle minerality are evident, reflecting its basalt terroir. The tannins are well-integrated, providing structure and length, while leaving a harmonious and well-rounded impression. A wine to savor, true to its Auvergne roots.

Les Chemins de l'Arkose
Languedoc | France
In Puy-de-Dôme, volcanic soils yield vibrant, structured wines with an almost mineral texture. The estate employs a gentle extraction process for Gamay and Pinot. The result is elegant, elongated, and highly digestible red wines. A remarkable expression of high-altitude terroir.
