Bordeaux | Red | 2021

Château des Annereaux, in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, embodies the excellence of family viticulture since 1390, with elegant and age-worthy wines, grown organically on gravelly-sandy terroirs of Bordeaux. In an agro-ecological approach, Benjamin Hessel perpetuates this heritage with passion, preserving the environment by planting hedges, fruit trees, beehives and flowering fallow land. An estate steeped in history where determination and innovation have always been present, offering wines of remarkable power and elegance.

Dominique, and later Benjamin Hessel, never considered anything other than this profound connection with the land, the terroir, and the region. The estate has been managed organically since 2007, with constant attention paid to the natural balance of the vineyard and the finesse of the wines.

The winemaking philosophy prioritizes elegance and drinkability. Extractions are carefully measured, and aging is intentionally restrained—approximately 25% new oak—to preserve the fruit and mouthfeel. This approach was recognized in 2018 with the inclusion of certain wines in the cellars of the Élysée Palace.

The estate has a long and unique history. A family property since 1390, Château des Annereaux owes much of its renown to Caroline ... Lire plus
