Clos Troteligotte

K-Tannat 2022

Cahors | Red | 2022

K-Tannat 2022 is a lively and energetic Tannat, asserting its power without ever being heavy. From a carefully selected micro-plot, it is vinified without sulfites and aged for seven months in concrete tanks to reveal all the freshness of the fruit. The palate is dynamic and velvety, with a supple and juicy texture, supported by a slight natural effervescence that adds tension and vibrancy. A straightforward and delicious red, best enjoyed now.

Our opinion on the vintage

An expressive, "straight from the vat" nose of red and black fruits, with milky nuances and a touch of yeast. On the palate, it is supple and pulpy, round and fresh, with a lively and fruity finish that is very vibrant and delicious.

The vines were planted starting in 1987, and the estate is now managed by Emmanuel Rybinski, who has continued and expanded upon the work begun by the previous generation.

The Malbec grape variety occupies a central place, complemented by Merlot, Tannat, and rarer varieties historically present in the Quercy region, such as Chenin Blanc and Jurançon Noir. In the vineyard, the estate implements ... Lire plus
