Domaine Céline et Fréderic Gueguen

Bourgogne La Vigne d'Emile 2024

Bourgogne | Red | 2024

Céline and Frédéric Gueguen, passionate and meticulous, cultivate varied terroirs in the Chablis region. This cuvée from the estate is part of the family tradition: this Bourgogne Pinot noir comes from the vineyard of Emile Petit, Céline's grandfather, located in the commune of Saint-Bris le Vineux in the Auxerrois region of Burgundy. It offers an expressive nose of small red fruits, violet, and sometimes spicy notes. On the palate, it is supple and balanced, with fine tannins and a lovely freshness.

Bourgogne | France

Founded in 2013, Domaine Céline et Frédéric Gueguen is located in the Chablis and Greater Auxerre regions. The vineyard comprises more than 35 plots spread across several communes, including Chablis, Chichée, Saint-Bris-le-Vineux and Irancy. This geographical diversity allows for the cultivation of varied soil profiles, predominantly Kimmeridgian clay-limestone, particularly well-suited to the expression of Chardonnay in the region.

Vineyard work is central to the estate's approach, with constant attention paid to grape quality and ripeness management. Winemaking aims to faithfully reflect the diversity of the terroirs, using precise and measured practices, without any artificial enhancement.

The white wines made from Chardonnay are distinguished by their clean fruit and fine minerality, characteristic of ... Lire plus
