Our opinion on the vintage

This garnet-hued vintage reveals a delicately perfumed nose, dominated by aromas of candied cherry and floral hints of peony. On the palate, the experience is all about lightness and elegance, with a silky texture that envelops the taste buds. An almost mystical freshness accompanies these fruity and spicy flavors. The intense and persistent finish is distinguished by a chalky note and a harmony between triumphant cherry and orange peel, promising a truly memorable tasting experience.

At Cheverny, Domaine des Huards has practiced biodynamic viticulture for so long that the vineyard seems to breathe to its own rhythm. The Romorantin finds a surprisingly energetic expression there, full of nuance. The Sauvignon Blanc plays a more composed, almost saline note. The reds remain supple, pleasant, and barely infused. The whole forms a remarkably coherent range, free of artifice.
