Our opinion on the vintage

The garnet robe hints at a delicate nose of ripe cherry, dried flowers, and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine unfolds with a full and fluid texture, silky smooth, without excess or heaviness. The red fruit is vibrant and crisp, carried by a subtle acidity that lightens the whole. The finish lingers with morello cherry and spicy notes, offering an unexpected freshness for a southern red. The balance between density and finesse makes this wine particularly versatile at the table, ideal with stews, grilled vegetables, or dishes seasoned with herbs.

Domaine des Tourelles is a historic estate in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, founded in the late 19th century and now cultivated on approximately 40 hectares of high-altitude vineyards. It benefits from a dry continental climate and diverse soils that promote healthy ripening of the grapes, particularly Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Carignan.

Continuing a family winemaking tradition, the estate practices sustainable viticulture with hand-harvesting and indigenous yeasts. Vinification includes maceration and fermentation in concrete tanks, followed by aging in tanks to allow the wines to develop a balanced and aromatic structure.

The estate's wines are distinguished by their fruity profile, roundness and persistence, offering a clear expression of the Bekaa Valley terroir.
