Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine offers a captivating sensory experience. From the very first whiff, floral and spicy aromas emerge with rare elegance, evoking cinnamon, cherry, and a delicate hint of almond. On the palate, the harmony of Pinot Noir and Gamay comes fully to life through flavors of fresh red fruit, accompanied by a silky texture. The tannins are refined, providing a beautiful structure without ever overpowering the wine. Its long finish, marked by a thirst-quenching freshness, makes it an ideal companion for a refreshing tasting experience for years to come.

Domaine Tessier

Domaine Tessier

Loire | France

In Cheverny, Domaine Tessier, led by Philippe Tessier, consistently cultivates the region's emblematic grape varieties: Romorantin, Sauvignon, and Gamay. The vineyard is managed using organic farming practices, with particular attention paid to the quality of the raw material and soil balance.

The winemaking process follows a natural, low-intervention approach, aiming to preserve fruit clarity and precise balance. The white wines favor vertical and taut profiles, driven by consistent acidity and a clear expression of the grape varieties. The reds, meanwhile, are distinguished by their freshness and a very fluid texture, built upon measured extractions.

All the cuvées are characterized by great legibility and marked stylistic coherence. The estate offers a luminous and precise interpretation of Cheverny, now recognized as an essential benchmark for the appellation.
