Pét' Nat En Parallèle

Vin de France | White | NM

This wine is made from Malbec grapes grown on forty-year-old vines planted in limestone soils. The winemaking process includes extended maturation to optimize the natural balance. Only gentle techniques are employed, such as delicate pressing. No sulfites are added, and the wine is not disgorged, resulting in a promising light veil of yeast. Aging on fine lees in tanks imparts an interesting complexity to the texture.

Our opinion on the vintage

From the first encounter, its slightly hazy rose-gold color and fine stream of bubbles pique the curiosity. On the nose, it exudes delicate aromas of roasted white fruits, citrus, and spices. On the palate, it's an explosion of sensations: roundness and fullness predominate, with a luscious and invigorating texture thanks to the lively, tiny bubbles. The aromatics are harmonious, blending fruity and toasty notes. The finish is refreshing, revealing a superb bitterness, enhanced by lingering chalky and buttery touches. A successful combination of elegance and indulgence.

Languedoc | France

A trained oenologist and a true free spirit in Languedoc, Jeff Carrel is one of those winemakers who have profoundly revitalized the image of wines from the South of France. For over twenty-five years, he has been exploring Languedoc terroirs with a simple yet demanding idea: to reveal the best of each grape variety, each plot, without ever masking the wine's identity.

Based in Roussillon, Jeff Carrel works hand in hand with a collective of partner winemakers called Les Amis de Jeff Carrel. Together, they select grapes from carefully chosen terroirs, cultivated with respect for the environment, to produce cuvées that are precise, delicious, and consistently excellent.

His style is distinguished by very expressive wines, driven by fruit, freshness, and balance, far from the heavy reds often associated with the South. Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Chardonnay are crafted with finesse to create ... Lire plus
