Fleur de Lune 2024

Pays d'Oc | Rouge | 2024

Located in the Gard region, the Saint Hilaire d'Ozilhan estate spans 28 hectares of limestone soils and rounded pebbles. The Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Grenache grape varieties produce wines from prestigious appellations such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône. Certified organic and kosher, our wines are enjoyed in Europe, Canada, and the United States. Kosher production requires a complete reorganization of the estate, fostering rich and exciting exchanges between communities. Fleur de Lune, inspired by the moon, guides every stage of winemaking to produce wines of exceptional quality.

Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine displays an intense purple color with cherry-red highlights. On the nose, it is expressive and fresh, revealing aromas of blackcurrant buds and remarkable intensity of Burlat cherries and red berries. On the palate, its fresh and silky texture offers notes of Burlat cherries and raspberries, along with subtle hints of spice. The fine, precise tannins accompany a long, round finish, leaving a mineral and structured impression. Perfect for pairing with Mediterranean dishes such as tapas or a lamb tagine.

Vignobles David

Since 2009, Vignobles David has established itself as a hidden gem in our Rhône Valley selection. Frédéric David cultivates more than 50 hectares around Manduel and Saint-Hilaire d'Ozilhan using organic farming methods, guided by a clear philosophy: winemaking with native yeasts, low sulfite levels, and a direct and authentic expression of the Mediterranean terroir.

The lineup includes Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, made from typical grape varieties—Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Viognier, and Roussanne. These are straightforward, well-balanced wines that are frequently sold out: a bestseller that more than lives up to its reputation.
