Côtes du Roussillon Villages | Red | 2021

The Grenache grapes are carefully harvested and placed as whole bunches in wooden and stainless steel vats, where they undergo cold carbonic maceration. After alcoholic fermentation, Syrah is added to complete the blend. Controlled aging in wooden and stainless steel vats ensures a velvety texture and smooth tannins, resulting in a harmonious and well-structured wine.

Our opinion on the vintage

With its deep purple hue, this wine captivates with its inviting nose where blackberry and raspberry coulis mingle with spicy and creamy notes. On the palate, it reveals an enveloping roundness and a fleshy texture. Its velvety texture and smooth tannins create a beautiful harmony, amplified by intense fruitiness and a vibrant freshness. The finish leaves a lasting impression of richness, with slightly candied fruit and persistent spicy notes, offering a striking and flavorful tasting experience.

Languedoc | France

A trained oenologist and a true free spirit in Languedoc, Jeff Carrel is one of those winemakers who have profoundly revitalized the image of wines from the South of France. For over twenty-five years, he has been exploring Languedoc terroirs with a simple yet demanding idea: to reveal the best of each grape variety, each plot, without ever masking the wine's identity.

Together, they select grapes from carefully chosen terroirs, cultivated with respect for the environment, to produce cuvées that are precise, delicious, and consistently excellent.

His style is distinguished by very expressive wines, driven by fruit, freshness, and balance, far from the heavy reds often associated with the South. Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Chardonnay are crafted with finesse to create ... Lire plus
