Vin de France | Red | 2019

This certified organic wine is the result of a carefully orchestrated blend of Cinsault, Syrah, Carignan, and Grenache grapes, grown on rich clay-limestone soils. Hand-harvesting and sulfite-free vinification, combined with aging on fine lees, reveal a wine with a smooth structure.

Our opinion on the vintage

Upon opening, this wine displays a deep, translucent garnet color. The aromatic bouquet is a delight, mingling cherry liqueur, plum tart, blackcurrant, and a hint of violet, promising a refined sensory experience. On the palate, it reveals itself to be round and full, with a velvety and seductive texture. Fruit and floral notes intertwine in a baroque dance, unveiling a character that is both sapid and languorous. The finish, meanwhile, offers concentration and depth, lingering on chalky and spicy notes, enhanced by a resinous-balsamic touch. A tasting that charms with its complexity and sensuality.

Languedoc | France

A trained oenologist and a true free spirit in Languedoc, Jeff Carrel is one of those winemakers who have profoundly revitalized the image of wines from the South of France. Together, they select grapes from carefully chosen terroirs, cultivated with respect for the environment, to produce cuvées that are precise, delicious, and consistently excellent.

His style is distinguished by very expressive wines, driven by fruit, freshness, and balance, far from the heavy reds often associated with the South. Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Chardonnay are crafted with finesse to create ... Lire plus
