This wine is made from 100% Riesling grapes, grown on sandy and clay soils according to organic farming principles. Vinification involves direct pressing, followed by fermentation in tanks without the addition of sulfur, using indigenous yeasts. Aging on the lees for 18 months in oak barrels imparts a subtle and complex structure. This wine pairs perfectly with everything from aperitifs to seafood dishes and desserts such as lemon tart.

Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this Riesling reveals delicate aromas of citrus and white flowers. From the first sip, one is captivated by its fluid texture and vivacity, leaving a lingering impression of freshness. The palate is then enveloped by mineral notes, indicative of its sandy and clay terroir, offering a long and memorable finish. Connoisseurs will appreciate its ability to complement both a refreshing aperitif and a more elaborate dish, such as a lemon tart, enhancing each course with its finesse and balance.

Languedoc | France

A trained oenologist and a true free spirit in Languedoc, Jeff Carrel is one of those winemakers who have profoundly revitalized the image of wines from the South of France. For over twenty-five years, he has been exploring Languedoc terroirs with a simple yet demanding idea: to reveal the best of each grape variety, each plot, without ever masking the wine's identity.

Based in Roussillon, Jeff Carrel works hand in hand with a collective of partner winemakers called Les Amis de Jeff Carrel. Together, they select grapes from carefully chosen terroirs, cultivated with respect for the environment, to produce cuvées that are precise, delicious, and consistently excellent.

His style is distinguished by very expressive wines, driven by fruit, freshness, and balance, far from the heavy reds often associated with the South. Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Chardonnay are crafted with finesse to create ... Lire plus
