Cahors | Rouge | 2024

Originating from the high-altitude plateaus of Cahors, this wine embodies honesty and balance. The predominant Malbec provides structure and depth, while Merlot rounds out the blend, making it immediately approachable. Vinified without artifice, featuring gentle extraction and aging in concrete vats, it prioritizes fruit expression, freshness, and terroir clarity. A genuine, delightful red, primarily conceived for enjoyment.

Our Review of the Cuvée

The nose opens with ripe dark fruits, blackcurrant and blackberry, accompanied by a subtly spicy touch and an earthy nuance typical of iron-rich soils. On the palate, the attack is supple, with prominent fruit supported by a fluid texture and fine tannins. The overall impression is digestible, balanced, with a fresh and clean finish, devoid of heaviness.

Clos Troteligotte

Jura | France

Located on the Causse de Cahors, Clos Troteligotte spans approximately 19 hectares of vineyards situated at an elevation of nearly 350 meters, amidst a wooded environment. This geological diversity significantly shapes the wine profiles and necessitates a micro-parcel approach. The vines were planted starting in 1987, and the estate is currently managed by Emmanuel Rybinski, who has continued and enhanced the work initiated by the previous generation.
