Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine boasts a brilliant, alluring purplish-red color. On the nose, it reveals aromatic complexity, blending notes of red fruit, tobacco, and liqueur. On the palate, harmony reigns, with a refined tannic structure and fruity flavors that unfold delicately. Perfect for pairing with grilled summer dishes or a cheese platter, this wine will satisfy connoisseurs seeking subtlety and balance.

Domaine de Cardon

Based in Mercurey since 2013, Domaine de Cardon was founded by a group of wine enthusiasts determined to breathe new life into the Cardon family’s vineyards on the Côte Chalonnaise. Across 15 hectares in the Mercurey and Mercurey Premier Cru appellations, the estate cultivates Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Aligoté on clay-limestone soils, as well as Gamay on granite soils in Chiroubles.

Single-varietal winemaking to highlight the terroirs, with fine tannins and well-preserved fruit: Domaine de Cardon offers approachable and precise Burgundies that blend Burgundian tradition with a confident contemporary flair. Among the best value for money in the appellation.
