Our opinion on the vintage

Upon opening, this tawny port reveals a complex and harmonious nose, mingling aromas of dried fruit, nuts, and a subtle hint of vanilla from its aging in oak casks. On the palate, it offers a smooth and silky texture, with a light and dry attack, typical of La Rosa's house style. The finish is elegant and lingering, revealing subtle notes of caramel and spice. Served slightly chilled, it is an ideal aperitif or a perfect way to conclude a meal. Its complexity and finesse make it a port of choice to discover and savor.

Quinta De La Rosa

Douro | Portugal

Quinta de La Rosa is a family-owned wine estate located in the Cima Corgo sub-region, in the heart of the Douro vineyards in Portugal, renowned for its Port wines and dry wines made from traditional Douro Valley grape varieties, planted on steep terraced schist soils.

The estate has approximately 55 hectares of vineyards on the banks of the Douro around Pinhão, where the varied climatic conditions and soils allow for the production of high-quality reds, whites and fortified wines, with a lovely freshness and characteristic minerality.

In addition to wine production, Quinta de La Rosa is also a wine tourism destination with a restaurant and accommodation, offering visitors the opportunity to discover its wines, its terroir and its century-old history on the banks of the river.
