Canopée 2022

Vin de France | Rouge | 2022

A family-owned estate located in the Gard region, our vineyards—grown on limestone and pebble soils—produce wines made from Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Grenache grapes. Certified organic and kosher, our wines, which are exported to Europe, Canada, and the United States, reflect our unique expertise. Hand-harvested, our old Cinsault and Grenache Noir grapes undergo natural maceration at low temperatures, yielding a vibrant and authentic juice.

Our Review of the Cuvée

This Canopée wine boasts a beautiful, deep purple color with cherry-red highlights. On the nose, it reveals fresh, intense aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry. On the palate, its fine, silky texture is accompanied by elegant, supple tannins with good intensity. Perfect for pairing with dishes such as fish, rack of lamb, or pork chops, this wine reflects the unique expertise of environmentally responsible viticulture.

Since 2009, Vignobles David has established itself as a hidden gem in our Rhône Valley selection. Frédéric David cultivates more than 50 hectares around Manduel and Saint-Hilaire d'Ozilhan using organic farming methods, guided by a clear philosophy: winemaking with native yeasts, low sulfite levels, and a direct and authentic expression of the Mediterranean terroir.

The lineup includes Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, made from typical grape varieties—Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Viognier, and Roussanne. These are straightforward, well-balanced wines that are frequently sold out: a bestseller that more than lives up to its reputation.
