Our Review of the Cuvée
On the nose, this wine reveals subtle aromas of ripe red fruits, a hallmark of Auvergne Gamay enhanced by a delicate touch of Chardonnay. The attack on the palate is clean and lively, thanks to a short maceration period of 8 days that preserves the grapes’ full freshness. The texture is silky, with a balanced structure and a light, refreshing acidity due to the vineyards’ high altitude. The finish is clean, leaving an impression of purity and minerality accentuated by tank aging and the absence of filtration, which preserve the authenticity of the flavors. This wine is a beautiful expression of the unique terroir of Montpeyroux.

Les Chemins de l'Arkose
Languedoc | France
In Puy-de-Dôme, volcanic soils yield vibrant, structured wines with an almost mineral texture. The estate employs a gentle extraction process for Gamay and Pinot. The result is elegant, elongated, and highly digestible red wines. A remarkable expression of high-altitude terroir.
