Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this wine reveals elegant aromas of yellow fruits and apricots, characteristic of the Viognier and Roussanne grapes that compose it. On the palate, balance is key, with a full and silky texture that delicately coats the palate. Floral and mineral notes gradually emerge, offering a beautiful length and a lingering sensation of freshness. Crafted with care, this wine reflects the estate's commitment to preserving the authenticity and potential of its exceptional terroir.

Domaine Jolivet is a family estate located in Saint-Jean-de-Muzols, in the heart of the Saint-Joseph appellation, on the right bank of the Rhône. Founded by Bastien Jolivet, who took over the family vineyards, the estate covers approximately 10 hectares, primarily planted with Syrah.

Each plot is harvested and vinified separately to preserve the unique characteristics of each terroir, then blended at bottling to create balanced and powerful wines. These wines are renowned for their aromatic purity, structure, and aging potential.

The estate's red wines, particularly the "1907" vintage, show a deep aromatic intensity with notes of black fruit and spices, controlled aging and significant aging potential.
