Château de Jonquières
La Baronnie Rouge 2015 - Rouge

Languedoc, Terrasses du Larzac

Château de Jonquières - La Baronnie Rouge
18€05

Château de Jonquières is a Barony; that is to say a set of lands attached to a property - hence the name of this cuvée. The nose reveals warm notes of roasted dried fruits, vanilla on a fruity base of ripe cherries and dry prunes. In the mouth, we find aromas of fig and morello cherry but also undergrowth, spicy, basalmic.

The word of the Winemaker, :

This cuvée offers a balance of structure and suppleness, power and finesse. Aged in 500l half-mornings for 18 months, we use barrels of 2 to 7 wines to bring length and depth to the wine. A cuvée typical of the AOC Terrasses du Larzac, a wonderful terroir...

Tasting

When ?

Ideal to accompany a cooked meal. To be kept in the cellar for up to 15 years, it will express itself at best between 8 and 10 years.
It is recommended to serve it at 16/18°C and to open it 1 to 2 hours before serving.

How ?

We recommend it with a 7-hour leg of lamb, a rack of lamb, a prune tagine, or chocolate in all its forms.

The Wine Estate

Charlotte's parents were in charge of the estate. When it was her turn to take over, she hesitated: at 27 years old and alone, Charlotte did not feel it. Fortunately, Clément has entered his life!
