Everything You Need to Know About Crémant de Limoux
Crémant de Limoux is produced around Carcassonne in the Aude department, in one of France’s oldest sparkling wine regions. Made from Mauzac, Chenin, and Chardonnay, it has a very distinctive profile.
Crémant de Limoux is distinguished by its aromas of Reinette apples, white flowers, and bread crumb, along with a particularly fine effervescence. It offers a southern alternative to the Crémants of northern France, with a unique character derived from the local Mauzac grape, which brings notes of apple and almond.
