Our Review of the Cuvée

This 2022 Les Femelottes white wine from Puligny-Montrachet offers a lovely freshness on the palate and is perfectly balanced. Its supple, fruity texture makes it an ideal pairing for fish-based appetizers or poultry dishes. Its exceptional terroir lends this Burgundy a unique subtlety; it can be enjoyed now or cellared for a few years to fully appreciate its evolution.

Domaine Chavy-Chouet

Burgundy | France

Born of the union of two historic Burgundian families, Domaine Chavy-Chouet is now run by Romaric Chavy, a seventh-generation winemaker, from Meursault. Spanning 15 hectares planted primarily with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the estate encompasses renowned terroirs of the Côte de Beaune: Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Volnay, and Pommard.

One remarkable feature: Romaric took over a family estate that has been pesticide-free for over 30 years, with vines averaging 65 years of age. Trained by his mentor François Mikulski—himself a leading figure in Burgundy—he produces elegant, mineral-driven wines that are deeply influenced by their terroirs.
