The vines of Clos des Gravillas, situated on the clay-limestone soil typical of St Jean de Minervois, benefit from an exceptional terroir. The Grenache Blanc grapes are meticulously hand-harvested, followed by rigorous sorting. Vinification begins with gentle pressing and cooling to 8°C to preserve their purity. The result is a wine with aromatic richness and a silky texture, perfect for pairing with a variety of dishes.

Our opinion on the vintage

This wine captivates at first glance with its brilliance and is just waiting to be discovered for its aromas. On the nose, it reveals complex notes of brioche and minerality, offering an intriguing olfactory experience. On the palate, it surprises with its silky texture and depth. Rich and complex flavors unfold, subtly reminiscent of savory dishes such as tagines or white meats. This wine is also an ideal partner for strong cheeses, adding a dimension of sophistication to every tasting.

Clos Du Gravillas

Clos Du Gravillas

Languedoc | France

On the high slopes of Saint-Jean-de-Minervois, in the Minervois region, Clos du Gravillas cultivates a vineyard planted on very stony, high-altitude limestone soils. This geological and climatic context promotes gradual ripening and naturally taut balances.

The estate cultivates a variety of grape varieties—Carignan, Terret, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Mourvèdre—all organically farmed. Winemaking is carried out with precision, prioritizing fruit purity and judicious extraction. This approach results in luminous wines, structured by a tension unusual for the region.

The wines offer digestible and vertical profiles, combining depth and freshness without heaviness. The entire body of work at Clos du Gravillas presents a unique and coherent interpretation of Minervois, highlighting altitude, soil type, and a constant pursuit of balance.
