Our Review of the Cuvée

From the moment it is opened, this wine charms with its bright, light-gold color. The nose reveals delicate aromas of warm apple, pear, and a subtle hint of toasted almond. A true liveliness comes through on the palate, with a pure, crystalline texture where more mineral and salty notes dominate. The finish, concentrated and intense, reveals a subtle bitterness of citrus peel mingled with lingering salty and spicy notes. A captivating tasting experience, perfect for lovers of refined and precise wines.

Burgundy | France

Located in the western Loire Valley, in La Chapelle-Heulin, Domaine Bonnet-Huteau boasts a long viticultural history, with wine production on the site spanning over 150 years. The estate, structured in its current form in 1959, has been managed by Jean-Jacques Bonnet and his family since the 1980s.

The vineyard, spanning approximately 40 hectares, is cultivated organically, with certification obtained in 2009, and subsequently managed biodynamically. Viticultural practices aim to preserve soil balance and vine vitality in a region characterized by complex terroirs, particularly around the Goulaine crus. Individual parcels are vinified separately to highlight the nuances associated with specific soils and exposures.

The wines, predominantly crafted from Melon de Bourgogne, seek a precise expression of the terroir, with particular attention paid to tension, depth, and clarity. ... Read more
