Our Review of the Cuvée

An expressive nose of white fruit, hazelnut, and fresh butter. Full-bodied, elegant, and mineral on the palate. A long, refined finish.

Domaine Olivier Gard

Domaine Olivier Gard

Loire | France

Established in 1990 in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, just outside Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Olivier Gard is run by Manuel Olivier on approximately 11 hectares. The estate cultivates, among other things, a plot of Aligoté historically linked to the region’s berries—blackcurrants, raspberries, and strawberries—which the family continues to grow and sell directly.

The Aligoté Vieilles Vignes white wines—clean, crisp, and mineral-driven—embody an unpretentious approach focused on the grape variety’s freshness and character. One unique feature: Manuel Olivier also offers his wines under the name “Manuel Olivier”—but our exclusive selection under the Olivier Gard label avoids any direct competition. Our entry-level wines in the Côte de Nuits regional AOP.
