Our opinion on the vintage

The wine is pale yellow with a stream of fine bubbles. The nose evokes ripe white fruits (apple, quince), wild mushrooms, and damp chalk. The palate is lively and taut, with invigorating bubbles and a round, fresh, thirst-quenching texture marked by minerality. The finish has a savory, saline chewiness, with notes of chalk and citrus peel, and that characteristic thirst-quenching quality of Brut Nature.

The grape varieties cultivated are typical of the Jura region: Savagnin, Chardonnay, Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir; Valentin is also experimenting with hybrid varieties to adapt to climate change. Viticulture emphasizes soil health, ... Lire plus
